Hello! Time goes by very fast and it is two weeks from my last post!! There are so many things to do with the children but I had a little time for sewing.
I wanted to try to make a basket. I made the first one then another and another one and here it is:
I machinequilted it with straight lines and loops.
Rex had a look and I think he likes specially the orange basket…
I made a pillow from scraps, I wish I had more fabric in these colors – a quilt would be niceHere I made quilting by hand
Zipper is hidden behind in a pillow cover
We had a small walk in the olivefield and we found these lovely flowers again. They are one kind of daffodils ( tazetta) and they remind me of Finnish Easter with they smell.
Thank you for your visit, I hope you have a happy weekend!

Dear Sujata, you have inspired me with your book so much! I wanted to try to make only one basket and the basket became another one… and then I found your technic to make “steps” and to put more color to the quilt. x Anneli
